I declare 2019 the year of the novel! At least it will be for me, as I’ve decided to concentrate on the long form of fiction this year, starting with enrolling in Richard Thomas‘ Novel in a Year Course. Don’t worry, I’ll still write short stories when I have the time. I also plan on blogging more regularly, starting on Wednesday with the first Author Spotlight of 2019, which will focus on paranormal romance writer, Stella Night. Friday will see the return of book reviews, with fantasy novel Heartstone by Elle Katharine White taking poll position. Have a book you’d like me to review, want to appear in my author spotlight or guest post on my blog? Feel free to contact me, I’d love to hear from you. Now there are more ways to keep up to date with my writing. Check out my author page on Facebook and my twitter account. Don’t forget to like and follow! The first anniversary of my website occurs in May, so watch out for a special giveaway that month. My short story for January is ‘Dead Jimmy and the Ghost‘, available now to download from most ebook retailers. Subscribers to my newsletter get a free copy! Want to read another Dead Jimmy story? Check out ‘Zoo of the Dead and other horrific tales‘ to read ‘Dead Jimmy and the Selkie‘ as well as eight other stories of horror and humor. What plans, goals and resolutions have you made for 2019? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
