Indiecember Reading Challenge 2019

Thanks to Megan Tennant, the inventor of the Indiecember Reading Challenge, and for holding it again this year. This is my first time participating in the challenge. I only found out about it a few weeks ago.

What is Indiecember?

It’s a Bingo style game to support self published authors. Participants post reviews on Amazon and goodreads of self published books that fulfill the requirements of the bingo card type squares. The books can have been read at any time, but the reviews must be posted in the month of December.

There are two ways to fill in the challenge card. You can either work across the board, in which case each book you review only counts once. However, you can also aim to fill all the squares, and if you do that, you can count some books more than once.

I’ve decided to cross off all the squares in the card, but I’m going to count each book once. It’s harder, and more fun!

I think there are prizes for those who compete, but the thrill for me is to find books that allow me to tick off each of the squares in the card. I love finding new authors to read, and I love supporting authors too.

Are you taking part?

Both my books are eligible to be reviewed for Indiecember! Isn’t that great!
