The Graveyard Speaks by Hunter Shea

When teenage ghost hunter, Jessica Backman, hears about a screaming grave in a cemetery in the Bronx, she doesn’t hesitate to investigate.

I loved this fun story. Nothing is as it seems. Jessica is a likable character and I appreciated how she investigated the potential ghost. Her friend, Angela, was a worthy foil.

With great pacing, interesting characters, and a satisfying story, I highly recommend it.

I received this novelette free when I signed up to Hunter Shea’s newsletter. I enjoyed it when I thought it was a standalone, but I’m delighted to learn that Jessica appears in a trilogy of novels. I look forward to going on more adventures with her.

I award The Graveyard Speaks
