Fairest to Fall by Ash Leigh

The final book in the Valiant series sees our brave heroines arrive at the palace and confront the evil king and queen.

With Elaine held captive in the palace dungeons, the others must work together, using their unique gifts, in order to defeat the wicked monarchy and rescue their friends.

I love this series. Reading it is like having a chat with a good friend. There’s darkness and hardship, but there’s so much goodness, light and love that it is a very heartwarming series.

Elaine and her friends finally face off against the evil Queen. There are daring escapes, armies marching to war, and secrets revealed. It’s very exciting.

There were a couple of things that pulled me out of the story; a chapter that I think should have come earlier in the book, a strange way to deal with a serious wound, a lot of telling – but I enjoyed the book so much that I’m going to overlook these nitpicks.

This is such a sweet, heartwarming magical series. If you’re looking for a pure comfort read, I recommend you treat yourself and start with the first book.

I award Fairest to Fall
